Hidden costs to review

Foundation versus slab

A four-inch floor slab is not automatically a complete structural foundation. Column footings, thickened edges, piers, anchors and engineering depend on the building reactions and soil.

Delivery assumptions

Some tubular packages include delivery only inside a dealer service area. Red iron freight is commonly separate. Confirm distance, unloading and remote-site charges.

Building services

Power, plumbing and HVAC are not part of an erected shell. Utility extensions, transformers, wells and septic systems remain outside the basic allowances.
